Clearwater Construction is a small, family owned general contracting company in northern Minnesota. We have been building custom lake homes for more than 10 years. Over the years, clients have asked us to create custom furniture pieces that they were unable to find anywhere else. We have paired natural wood along with stones and backlighting to create unique, one-of-a-kind, showcase furniture pieces. We have used many species of wood in our projects and can create both rustic and contemporary designs. Our stones are both local granites and conglomerates blasted for us out of a mine north of Thunder Bay, Ontario. The Thunder Bay conglomerate contains amethyst and quartz which we have found backlight nicely. When backlit, these pieces come to life to add a warm glow to your room. Each piece is designed and built with attention to detail. For each project, we hand-select the materials to be used paying close attention to uniqueness and special characteristics. Each piece of material, stone or wood is hand-finished to bring out its own unique beauty.
